The Electric Motorcycle is NOW for Everyone

What you like or don't like about motorcycles and motorcycle culture doesn't matter. The culture is branching off and into new market territory and there's a small company in North Carolina that's leading the way.

Exemplary Vertical Applications, Inc. (EVA for short) is a design and engineering company tucked away in downtown Fayetteville, North Carolina that is aiming to cause culture waves in the motorcycle industry. This past year, they launched their newest publicly-available and DOT-certified prototypes for the Rocket E1 electric motorcycle and the SimbaX electric unicycle, and both are turning heads in the industry and around town.

For now, we'll just talk about the Rocket E1 bike because as a motorbike, it tends to be more relatable to most of us. We see motorcycles zoom in and out of traffic, noisily getting to their destinations. Some commuters are impressed and some are annoy

With the Rocket E1, there is no noise factor and because of this, the driver drives more cautiously and aware of his/her surroundings. The Rocket E1 can travel up to 60 MPH for 60 miles on a full charge. It's perfect for small towns, beach towns, and smaller city commutes of less than 20 miles each way.

Imagine roads where you can say, "hello", to your fellow commuters instead of cursing out the machine that cut you off. Imagine a college town or even a high school where kids take their bikes to school. Don't worry, mom and dad, it does have a governing feature to help your student(s) make better decisions on the road.

The vision for EVA's vehicles came from a vision to create a machine that is as easy as riding a bicycle and as fun as being a kid again. The machine is reminiscent of getting that first bicycle for Christmas or new toy on your birthday. It's hard not to smile when you get on one even if you've never ridden a motorcycle before.

Founder, Eric N., and his marketing manager, Antonio Valcarcel, tell us that several weeks ago, they were riding around the neighborhood and met a pizza delivery guy who pulled over to ask about the bikes. We offered to follow him and let him ride. The moment he took off, he was smiling and laughing - impressed with the torque and power of this sans gas bike.

The first time Antonio, himself, rode a motorcycle, it was a Rocket E1 electric motorcycle. "It feels like I'm riding my bike again. It's quieter than a bicycle! This is great!"

100% electric means zero carbon emissions and zero mechanical noise. In the near future, EvaCycles.com will begin offering replacement parts and accessories including a variety of accent colors to allow for customization.

The Rocket E1 electric motorcycle isn't a muscle machine. It doesn't try to be. It's a fun and beautiful bike that will bring you back to your childhood as you feel the breeze in your face and hear the sounds in the world around you. We hope to see you in one soon. Ride. Smile. Be Yourself.
